The CoronEx bag has been tested by Chilworth Technologies, Inc of the USA, one of the foremost labs in electrostatic testing, to pass the stringent IEC standard Section 5.3 IEC 61340-4-4CDV.
FIBCs made using CoronEx™ fabrics and webbings dissipate static electricity quickly and efficiently without giving rise to incendive discharges. CoronEx™ has been developed for use in flammable or combustible environments. It prevents potential ignition of low MIE gases and vapors primarily by Corona Discharging.
